When Marcella Allison was 5 years old, her father bought her a circus. Well, technically he bought her stock in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Inc. But that minor detail was lost on Marcella who marched into kindergarten and announced, “I own the circus!” 

And she’s been directing her own three-ring circus ever since with an impressive troupe of performers. 

For nearly twenty years, Marcella has worked side by side with some of the best copy chiefs and copywriters in the industry including Mark Ford, Parris Lampropoulos, David Deutsch, Clayton Makepeace, Cindy Butehorn, Mike Ward, and more. 

But her most successful copywriting collaboration has been with Henry Bingaman. Together, this partner act has generated over $150 million in sales for their top direct response clients.

A fierce advocate for women, Marcella founded and sold the Titanides, an organization dedicated to mentoring and promoting female marketers, copywriters, and entrepreneurs. 

In 2018, Marcella was awarded Copywriter of the Year by American Writers and Artists Inc. for her outstanding performance record and impact on the copywriting industry. 

Her award-winning book, Why Didn’t Anyone Tell Me This Sh*t Before? a collection of wit and wisdom from women in business has sold nearly 3,000 copies to date.
